A modified open tray direct abutment level impression technique: A clinical tip

Reproducing the accurate intraoral relationship of an implant through impression making is first step in achieving fit prosthesis. Traditionally techniques used dentistry can be classified into closed tray and open techniques. Open impressions are considered to more as compared cases with multiple implants. It requires long copings which picked up during procedure thereby reproducing exact implant. Present article describe a modified direct abutment technique utilizing applicator tips absence copings.
